Digital Storytelling - How to create engaging Audio-Visual shows.
IntroductionAudio visual shows were a popular form of entertainment and used in education. The audio visual often consisted a pair of projectors with a control unit that caused the slides to change in time to a sound track. Crossfading from one projector to the other enabled a limited range of visual effects. Today, the same results can be achieved with a variety of software, and offering a much greater range of special effects.
Audio visual slideshows of the nineteen seventies, have evolved into a new genre: Digital Storytelling.
